Texas Artists Coalition Annual Show -- Opening

Brian and I attended the TAC show opening last night.  It was a lovely evening.

The Texas Artists Coalition's mission is to support career development of artists, whether they are emerging or established.  They offer mentorship programs, workshops and exhibition opportunities. It is a great group!

The show was held at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, which apparently once was the home of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.  The galleries are light and bright, and the exhibited pieces looked wonderful. My piece was one of the few fiber pieces:  most were paintings, along with a few sculptures.
At the entrance to the gallery.  I liked the gnomes, which were made of sugar.

There two other shows opening, and Brian and I had a great time walking through the galleries.

The TAC show will hang until August 30th.  If you are in Fort Worth, go see it!
